We stopped here for an early lunch on a beautiful Saturday. When a restaurant is busy even before noon, you know they're doing something right. Boondocks manages to combine fresh, flavorful and sometimes unique casual foods with a friendly laid-back atmosphere overlooking a marina. There is a large bar (we would have loved to eat there, but it was already busy!) and a very friendly serving staff. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
We visit the Daytona beach area a few times a year for the last 20 years and I love boondocks. Service always great. Love their raw oysters. And they have the best crab legs in town. Always the best.
We enjoyed our lunch at Boondocks. Our service was great and the food was excellent. We had fish dip and onion rings for appetizers and then had the lunch fish special and fish tacos. It has a nice view of a marina also.

Great spot for lunch or dinner! Great views and friendly staff. It is covered but no ac, they do have fans so just be prepared for warmer temperatures. We went at 11 and it was perfect. The fried shrimp was delicious!
Went during spring break with a party of 15! Seated quickly, a separate server made sure to get our drink orders in and took our orders, while ours was occupied but the staff all work together effortlessly. Nassau chowder was delicious. Outdoor seating was great, sitting on the deck and enjoying the weather and water. Coco loco was tasty, as well as the oysters. A great restaurant experience during one of the peak times! Will definitely be back again!
Had a great lunch on a beautiful day here. My daughters Boom Shrimp Tacos were amazing. I had the Boondocks fish sandwich. Absolutely excellent. There was enough fish for 2 sandwiches. Prices were good. We're NYers, we know expensive. Will definitely be back next April.
